Account Manager

Coast Medical Service is seeking a full-time Account Manager who can excel at placing travel nurses on assignments. The individual who takes advantage of this account manager job opening will act as a dependable liaison between our clients (job candidates) and our recruiters, facilitating the information required for closing deals.

The account manager must excel at forging/growing relationships and possess attention to detail to meet our clinicians’, clients’, and internal staff’s needs. With this account manager job opportunity, you’ll be provided with the necessary autonomy for growing your desk as well as our overall business book. Travel medical care opportunities are increasing in demand, so you will receive access to several thousand open assignments. If you perform strongly, you may work from any location in this remote role, and you will be generously rewarded.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee thousands of openings for jobs, making sure that the job information provided in our applicant tracking system is accurate.
  • Build strong relationships with several clients to comprehend their unique pain points, then grow these customer relationships.
  • Partner with Coast’s team to target our highest-leverage account opportunities, consistently performing at high levels for clients.
  • Provide ongoing management, leadership, and coaching to drive continuous improvement on our travel team.
  • Identify and execute extra growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts successfully to close a large number of deals.
  • Create and implement Coast best practices and processes.
  • Have fun and work hard.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a travel nursing staffing agency account manager role
  • Experience with vendor management system providers (e.g., Vizient, RightSourcing, HealthTrust, Cross Country, Aya, AMN)
  • A sense of responsibility and discipline to achieve positive results
  • A gregarious and outgoing people person passionate about delivering for the benefit of other people
  • Good listening skills and the ability to ask the necessary questions to comprehend clients’ needs
  • A persuasive and savvy deal closer who is obsessed with making sure that all stakeholders win
  • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and level of trustworthiness
  • Ability to improve, coach, motivate, and lead the sales team
  • Problem-solver with the desire to improve constantly
  • Ability to prioritize several urgent initiatives
  • Robust organization skills
  • Competitive, motivated, and persuasive without being salesy
