Coast Medical Service is in need of a remote Compliance Coordinator who can serve as the primary point person regarding compliance-related matters for medical care providers across the United States. Compliance Coordinator Job Opening: Job Responsibilities


  • Make sure that all travel health care assignments that have been booked with your clinicians begin on time.

  • Identify compliance requirements for your clients, and establish and enforce the appropriate expectations among your clinicians.

  • Follow up with your clinicians to make sure that they have met all compliance standards by the set deadlines.

  • Collect and audit the necessary documents, and save them to Coast’s internal Nexus and SharePoint systems.

  • Upload pertinent documents to VMS portals online, including Workforce, Wand, Optimizer, Nexus, Medefis, Fieldglass, B4Health, and Aya.

  • Monitor expiration dates on documents to make sure that all filed documents are current.

  • Perform background checks, run sanctions, and obtain the drug/medical screen results generated by clinic locations.

  • Communicate statuses and updates to Coast Medical Services’ corporate team.

  • Pinpoint opportunities for improving processes and workflows, and implement these improvements.

  • Surpass goals regularly.

  • Work hard to add to the corporate culture in a positive way, all while having fun.


Compliance Coordinator Job Opening Requirements and Skills


  • 2+ years of demonstrated compliance experience in the travel medical care staffing field

  • High level of experience with navigating VMS portals as Workforce, Wand, Shiftwise, Optimizer, Nexus, Medefis, Fieldglass, B4Health, and Aya

  • The discipline and sense of responsibility needed to excel at a remote role

  • A track record of being detail-oriented, committed to delivering positive results for others, and being deadline-driven

  • Experience with running, pre-employment drug screens as well as background checks

  • The ability to develop solid relationships with clients and be convincing without being pushy

  • Strong listening skills combined with the propensity to ask excellent questions to develop a better understanding of clients’ needs

  • Prioritization and organization skills

  • A willingness to improve your skills and solve problems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
